Dear Prospective Students:
Since its founding in 1990, CCU's College of Science has been noted for its excellence in science teaching and research. We feature five departments of Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics. It comprises more than 90 dedicated faculty members, 200 postgraduate students and over 1200 undergraduate students. Departments offer a wide range of programs for the bachelor's, Master's and doctoral degrees, advancing students' future careers with a degree in science.
We pride ourselves in supporting the research opportunities for our students, enabling them to benefit from both classroom instruction as well as practical laboratory work with our professors. The skills and practices learnt in courses and in research labs prepare the students to become well-rounded scientists, chemists, physicians, mathematicians, geologists, geophysicians, biomedical workers, school teachers, or technical experts. Our goal is to give students a competitive education in future quests to secure a great job or further study in graduate.
The college will continue to move forward and set new standards in research, teaching and engagement with the world. We hope you will join us soon.
